FontFinder AI is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your font discovery activities are personal and should stay that way.

Data Storage

All user data stays in your browser. We use IndexedDB and localStorage to store:

• Font identification history
• Favorite fonts
• Custom font collections
• Search history

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

AI Image Processing

When you upload an image for font identification:

• Images are sent to Vercel AI Gateway (OpenAI GPT-5-nano vision API)
• Images are processed temporarily and not stored by AI providers
• We do not retain copies of your uploaded images on our servers

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how users interact with our platform. This helps us improve the service but does not collect personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

• Google Fonts API: Used to load font metadata and web fonts
• Vercel AI Gateway: Processes font identification requests
• Ahrefs Analytics: Privacy-focused web analytics

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally in your browser:

• You can clear your data at any time using browser settings
• You have complete control over your information
• No account deletion needed - there are no accounts
